IBM Mid America Employees Federal Credit Union Rochester, MINNESOTA This Credit Union and office facility presented an extremely complex program challenge. At 35,000 sq. ft., the building required a full service bank, with walk-up tellers, separate vaults for safety deposit storage and bank transactions, a loan department, stocks and bonds and member services departments, and a Computer Center for its 13 state regions. The 40 foot high banking atrium is flanked by overlooking mezzanine and upper level service floors. The building is finished in stone native to Southern Minnesota. This light colored stone is enhanced by Italian marble insets, which also occur in conjunction with other marbles and African Mahogany in the interior.
